Seit 2015 wurde die strukturelle Gewalt, der die Körper von FLINT-Personen ausgesetzt sind, Gegenstand zahlreicher feministischer Proteste auf der ganzen Welt. Indem diese Körper in kollektive Performances eingebunden wurden, haben sie die Entfaltung transnationaler Solidarität und eines queer-feministischen Verständnisses von Widerstand ermöglicht.

Der Film Beats Of The Antonov (2014) dokumentiert, wie die Menschen in den Flüchtlingscamps in der Region des Blauen Nils oder in den Nuba-Bergen mit den andauernden Bombardements durch Antonov-Flugzeuge der sudanesischen Regierung umgehen. Dabei zeigt er auch auf, welche Bedeutung musikalische Traditionen in dieser Zeit der Krise gewinnen können. Der Essay geht der Frage nach, ob Musik als Ort einer Communitas in einer vom Krieg geprägten Gesellschaft gedacht werden kann und welche Möglichkeiten sie für den Widerstand bietet.

So what we need today, as the philosopher declares, is collective shared political inventions—“the invention of new worldwide institutions, protocols, and research programs”.

Depuis 2015, la violence structurelle à laquelle sont sujets les corps des personnes FLINT a été l’objet de nombreuses protestations féministes à travers le monde. En engageant ces corps dans des performances collectives, celles-ci ont permis le déploiement de solidarités transnationales et d’une compréhension queer-féministe de la résistance.

Since their performance Un violador en tu camino went viral in 2019, the Chilean feminist collective LASTESIS is committed to spreading their ideas, theses, and practices of resistance through performances, both in public space and in art institutions around the world. In 2021, the collective published the manifesto Quemar el Miedo (Burn your Fear) where they outline a queerfeminist and decolonial critic of patriarchal violence based on Latin American experiences of women and gender dissident persons and declare bodies and performance as the central means of transnational resistance. At the festival Theater Spektakel in Zurich, LASTESIS gave a 4-day workshop and staged their performance RESISTENCIA o la reivindación de un derecho colectivo (RESISTANCE or the vindication of a collective right) with more than 30 local participants.
